Technology Overview
Laser technology has a broad and precise range of applications, particularly thanks to the principle of ablation. Laser stripping relies on the use of a highly focused light beam generated by a fiber optic laser source. This beam instantly heats the surface layer of a material (paint, rust, varnish, grease, oxidation, etc.) until it vaporizes or separates from the substrate, without mechanical contact.
This localized thermal interaction causes controlled ablation: the material to be removed absorbs the beam's energy, while the substrate, often wood, stone, or metal, is minimally altered. This allows for highly precise work without deformation or excessive overheating.
